The next Assembly of IASSID, which will be held during the World Congress in Halifax July 2012, will see the election of a President-elect and a Treasurer for the period 2012-2016. Nominations have been accepted for these positions, and we ask you to consider the candidates.
President-Elect Nomination, 2012-2016 The President-elect is a member of the Council and Executive of IASSID. Serving as President-elect involves attending three meetings a year (one Council meeting and two Executive meetings). The President-elect will chair the Program Committee for the 2016 World Congress and take responsibility for all aspects of the World Congress organization. Other activities will arise from the developmental agenda of the Association. The President-elect will become President of IASSID for the 2016-2020 term, conditional on the support of the Assembly. Treasurer Nomination, 2012-2016 The Treasurer is also a member of the Council and Executive of IASSID. Serving as Treasurer involves attending three meetings a year (one Council meeting and two Executive meetings). The Treasurer manages the financial affairs of the Association with the guidance of our accountant and the Finance Committee.
